With other words: the meal as a total looked quite cheap, compared to the high entree price. Now, I can tell you for sure: they didn't had plastic plates in these days either, but that's something the owners didn't realise, I guess. ![]() Under the idea of "in medieval times they didn't had knife and fork" (which is a historical mistake, the wealthy did have so, by the way), we were asked to eat with hands. Afterwards, it became clear it was only important to allow you buy merchandise and allow your kids to take pictures (no use for us, as no kids at that time being). They stressed it several times arriving an hour in advance was very important. Visitors were asked to be present at least an hour in advance. If you do not care about seeing the mistreatment of animals for your pleasure and amusement then you will enjoy the show a lot, however if you can see them being whipped to carry out routines on stage what is happing behind closed doors? With so many activities/events to do throughout Orlando please do not go here.I have been there in 2011 (which is 5 years ago and quite some things can have changed by now - be aware of that !). We couldn’t even stomach the food because of the cruelty we had just witnessed. ![]() The server was putting out the food and splashed oil all over my partners clothes. I expressed my concerns with the cash manager and she issued me a full refund. We could not stand watching it therefore we left before the main show had started. The horses were carrying out moves on their hind legs which cause them a significant amount of pain and issues. Any slight hesitation from the horses would result in a whipping, in front of the audience. The horses are clearly performing the routines through fear of being whipped, which evidently happens behind closed doors more so than on stage. Within 5 mins of the show me and my partner could not watch anymore as we were disgusted and upset about how the horses are clearly being treated. On reading reviews I had high expectations of the show. All in all a fun activity for one time only, for the family. Like jousting, swordfighting and target hitting. Show is 6 different knights duelling in various medieval competitions (surprise!). Now the barkeeper only comes by once during start of show, so either you have to order a lot, or you have to sit on an end where you can easily go in and out to the bar. You get coke, diet coke, water or lime as drink, with refills. Starts off with tomato soup and garlic bread, then a corn cob, half a chicken and half a grilled potatoe. There a waiter/waitress will serve you your meal during the show, and you get enough food. There is some small shows in the hallway, before you are called to your seats. Here you can buy effects, souvenirs etc, and of course beverages. After offered a BED, you get a crown, and enter into the lobby. You sit in the back of totally 6 rows, so you see everything perfectly. We bought the cheapest package, and basically it was more then enough. ![]() Like all other experiences in the US, no matter what package you buy up front, there is always a BED (Bigger more Expensive Deal) when you come to the premises.
